Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Hotel Nicolaas Witsen is frequently praised for its modern and clean rooms, some of which are described as spacious, with comfortable beds and fabulous showers. Guests often appreciate the convenience of having a coffee machine and fridge in their room, along with the 24/7 availability of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby. The location is considered great, offering easy access to trams and metro, and is within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of the city center and museum district; however, some guests have found the rooms to be on the smaller side. Breakfast receives high marks, especially the freshly cooked pancakes and egg dishes.

The hotel has a convenient location, situated on a peaceful street within a charming area! but it is still close enough for walking to main attractions. Amenities exceeded my expectations for the price. I enjoyed the provided breakfastwith fresh and varied options.

An okay experience

central locationhelpful staffuncomfortable bedsmall room
The location was pretty central (i liked that it was tucked away). The hotel staff were helpful too. Our room suited us well. It was quite compact.
The bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable. The room was entirely too small for two people with luggage (we had quite a lot, actually). The toilets were also very shallow.
